How to Shift
Practical career guidance for Filipinos who work remotely or want to. This page is an early public introduction while the project is being built.
Who it is for
- Entering remote work. Filipinos trying it for the first time.
- Considering the move. Filipinos in onsite or corporate jobs thinking about remote work.
- Already remote. Filipinos who want a better client, role, or company.
How it approaches the work
How to Shift is being built around verifiable evidence instead of invented or inflated claims. The aim is to help people see what their experience actually supports, check whether an employer or client is legitimate, and decide what to change next. Important decisions stay with the person making them.
It does not promise interviews, job offers, or higher pay. Remote work is not automatically better, and changing careers is not always the right answer.
Where the project came from
The work that led to How to Shift started with free AI career tools published on r/buhaydigital under the Reddit username TheObnoxiousPanda. Filipino remote workers and job seekers tried them and shared what helped and what did not. That feedback is one input behind the current rebuild.
How to Shift is independently created by TheObnoxiousPanda and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Reddit or r/buhaydigital.
